PENSION RISES

In 2015 the Hon. Sec. was asked at the AGM to try and obtain a rise on the non gmp part of the Royal Liver Superannuation scheme and we are delighted to report that not only did he manage to obtain a rise in 2016 he followed this up each year with requests for a rise and here are the details:- 2016-------2.5% 2017-------1,5% 2018-------2.5% 2019-------2.5% 2020-------2.0% work will continue to ask for further rises STATE PENSION The basic pension for 2020 is £134.25 per week TAX ALLOWANCE For 2020 the tax allowance is £12500 MONEY FROM THE TAX MAN You can transfer part of your spouses unused tax allowance by contacting www.gov.marriage-allowance or 0300 200 3300 Different rules apply in Scotland
