On this page you will be able to read about local brance meetingd The half- year meeting of the North-West Branch was held on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 at the home of Branch Chairman Alan Bennett Attendees started to arrive just before 12 noon for the pre-meeting buffett Meeting commenced at 12.45 pm Agenda 1-Chairman` welcome and opening remarks 2-Roll call Present were Graham and Janice Whitlock, Irene Cuncliffe, Derek Atkinson and Aan Bennett Apologies were received by 4 of the members 3-Minutes of last meeting 4-Correspondence 5-Branch reports( Sec and Treasurer) As usual (happily!) the Branch is still solvent! 6-Report from Gen. Sec.Treasurer Graham. As usual Graham gave a comprehensive report on his dealings with Royal London and the finacial positions of the Superannuation fund and of the Association. 7-Election of delegate(s) for the Conference 8-Any Other Business-I thanked Irene for her work as Assistant Branch Secretary 9- Time and Place of next Branch Meeting- Will be May 2020 at Branch Chairman`s House . Date TBA 10-Chairman`s Closing Remarks - All were thanked for their attendance and for their input in the meeting (here it must be said that much pleasant and entertaining conversations taes place during the course of the meeting which was helped by Derek Atkinson having brought pages from copies of the ¬Liver News¬ from the 1980s which were of great interest to all) All then visited the Kitchen for further refreshments doggy bags before being wished safe journey home.
